Fan Mail: Trinity’s live radio broadcast of worship each week is an important ministry. With sponsorship of $80 each week from individuals in our congregation, we are able to provide this worship service to people in our community and beyond. We sometimes wonder how effective this ministry is, and how many people we reach each week, but those of you who have listened to worship on the radio know that it makes a difference.
This email letter was received on Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2011:
Hello Pastor Brenda,
My name is Kevin Buckley and I am a CPA in North Haven, Connecticut. And yes, I am working on Sunday as the income tax deadline approaches. I am also a member of First United Methodist Church in Wallingford, Connecticut and a Certified Lay Speaker in the Connecticut District of the New York Annual Conference.
Thank you for your wonderful sermon from John 8 today. If I have to work on Sundays I often search the internet for worship services to listen to and my search for “United Methodist Radio” led me to try Trinity UMC in Idaho Falls! I am so glad I did.

Your comments about sin (and moral relativity) were excellent food for continuing thought. (BTW, the story about the comments and thoughts about Justin Bieber was both alarming and very sad!)
