Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement to wed.   You are now probably in the midst of planning what we trust will be one of the single most joyous days of your life- Your Wedding Day!!  We, at Trinity United Methodist Church, are honored that you are considering us as a place to host this special day.  We welcome the opportunity to share the history and charm of our church with you and your guests, to invite you to become part of it's history, and offer this information as a quick overview of our wedding package.

Wedding Package - $600 for non-members

$400 for member

Our package includes the use of the church's sanctuary (seating up to 300 guests) and building for your wedding and rehearsal including our newly decorated bridal room, use of the brass wedding candelabra set, wedding banners, and kneeling bench, if requested, clergy service to include officiating at the wedding service, participating in the rehearsal and at least 2 pre-marital counseling and planning sessions; wedding coordinator; organist; sound system operator; and custodial services.

This price includes a $100 refundable cleanup/responsible use deposit.  The contract and deposit are required to hold your date.  Balance is due three days prior to the wedding day.  

Reception Hall facilities are available.  Details are available upon request.




Policies

•Smoking is prohibited in the building

•No alcoholic beverages or drugs may be served or used on the premises.

•Professional photographers are welcome.  Flash photography, however during the service is not allowed.  (Remember, the wedding service is a sacred event and should be treated reverently).

•Video cameras may be attended at either the rear or balcony positions.  An unmanned tripod can be set up on the left or right side of the sanctuary or in the choir loft.

•Confetti is not allowed.  Rice and birdseed are acceptable outside the building.  We suggest bubbles, however, as a nice alternative.

•Our minister will officiate at all wedding conducted at Trinity.  Any other arrangements will need approval of the Pastor.

•Decorations are welcome.  We will make every attempt to accommodate your wishes.  Please do not ask us to remove anything that is a permanent part of our sanctuary.  Arrangements for se-up times may be arranged with the church office manager or the wedding coordinator.

•You, or someone in your party will need to make sure that upon your leaving, the church is returned to the condition that you found it. (Responsible Use)

These guidelines are necessary to preserve the sanctity of your wedding ceremony and the physical condition of our Historic building.  Your cooperation is appreciated.  Any questions regarding these policies may be directed to the wedding coordinator or the Pastor.
