Mission News in the Outreach:

FATHERS’ DAY TOOLS
We remembered mothers for Mothers’ Day, so now let’s
remember fathers! Trinity’s Mission Committee invites you to honor your father, grandfather or someone special through Church World Service’s “Tools of Hope” program. Church World Service is a Cooperative ministry of 35
Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations,
providing sustainable self-help and development, disaster relief, and refugee assistance in some 80 countries.
The Tool of Hope Program supplies those tools necessary
for maintaining adequate food supplies and living
environments. Tools of Hope may include hardware tools,
emergency clean-up buckets, medical supplies, health kits, school kits, and “kid kits” to assist uprooted families and individuals.
Remember when you needed that special tool to do that special job. People who need a tool, not necessarily a special tool, but a tool to build a shelter for their family from inclement weather just to survive appreciate our gifts. Our VIM mission trip to Honduras demonstrated the need for tools of all kinds for daily survival.
Make your gifts to remember your father, grandfather or someone special to you as a gift of hope in their name. The needs are great—so are the opportunities to help. Each $5 donation will go toward the purchase of tools and other items that will make a real difference in the lives of those who receive them.
When your order is placed, a note will be sent to each person you are honoring, telling of this special gift given in their name by you. Just fill out the order form on the back and send or bring it to Trinity UMC, along with your cash or check for $5 per person you want to honor.

Covenant Relationship
Trinity United Methodist Church has received the official letter about its Covenant Relationship with Rev. Jorge Rodriguez who has begun a Spanish ministry in Wilder, Idaho. The card received from him says, ―One of the real joys of the Holiday Season is the opportunity to say Thanks You and to wish you the very best for the New Year.‖
If anyone would like to send a card to him and his wife Zaida and son Saul, the address is:
Rev. and Mrs. Jorge Rodriguez
623 Prince Avenue

A gift certificate was sent to them from the Missions Committee, and it would be special for many others to greet them also.
