New Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 6 will be starting a new Tiger Scout den in May for all boys finishing Kindergarten. We are also looking for any other boys who will be entering 1st - 5th grade next year. Please contact Kurt Spracher (523-7369) or Bill O'Steen (552-0665) if your son is interested in the Cub Scouts.
Youth Groups’ plans for May
May 4—both groups will get together for pizza and a movie
May 11—no meeting—do something special for your mother!
May 18—last meeting of the school year—Destination Unknown for both Junior & Senior High
Don’t Forget to Register for Camp Sign up for UMC Church Camp before May 5 to qualify for the lowest cost to register. Go to www.gocamping.org to register online or come by the Church Office for a registration form. The Sawtooth schedule of camps is posted on the board by the sanctuary and there is a display of brochures on the piano in the Parlor. Scholarships will be available through both the Annual Conference and through TUMC. We’ll mail them in a batch for you, if you don’t register online.
Youth Xplosion!
Youth, grades 6-12 and their leaders are encouraged to plan ahead for Xplosion to be held at Camp Magruder on the Oregon Coast, August 9-13. This event, offered by the Conference Youth Ministry Team, will replace multiple events, including re-miX and Youth Leaders Training, but is not intended to replace a week at summer camp.
