Did you know…?

Any woman is welcome to be a member of one of the United Methodist Women Circles at Trinity, whether or not you are a member of Trinity. If you do not wish to be a member of a particular circle, consider being a “general member.” The next Unit Meeting will be held Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 pm.  Joyce Ayers will be giving a surprise program about spiritual growth. 

Ethel Clark Circle meets at 1:00 pm the third Tuesday of the month (April 15), Morning Glory Circle meets at 10:00 am the third Monday (April 21),

Susannah Circle meets at 7:30 pm the fourth Wednesday (April 23),

and Mary Martha Circle meets at 1:00 pm the fourth Thursday (April 24). 

All meetings are held in the church parlor. If you need further information about any of the circles, you may call Joni Pace, 529-9822 or Sheryl Schaffer, 524-2910.

Here Comes the Bride

Plan to attend the social gathering and luncheon to celebrate brides and weddings on Saturday, May 17th at 1 pm in Mary Dawson Hall. This is a fundraiser to support missions for women and children. Tickets are available for $10.00 each through the Circle Chairs or Sharon Eld, 522-5827. Plan to invite friends and family for this occasion.

We will have wedding dresses on display and perhaps modeled. Contact Joy Christian, 522-6793, if you have a wedding dress that can be used—no matter how old or new.  We would also like to display wedding memorabilia for the table decorations such as wedding pictures, cake servers, garters, handkerchiefs, etc.  Flo Culbreth, 552-3291, will be collecting these items, so please let her know what you plan to bring.  Please have your items to the church by 10:00 am Friday morning, May 16th as they will  be decorating that afternoon.  Please have each piece labeled with your name and phone number.

It’s rummage sale time again

The semi-annual UMW spring rummage sale will be held May 2-3 in Mary Dawson Hall. Set up will be May 1. If you have items that need to be picked up, please contact Marilyn Taylor at 523-2630.  We encourage you to hold your rummage until the week before the sale if possible, particularly large pieces of furniture.
